Publishers of XBRL financial reports can share them freely with all of the report's recipients using the SavaNet Reader. XBRL reports can be created and distributed with the same ease as PDF or HTML reports, but with much more value added for the end user. The SavaNet Reader interactively displays all of the report financial content along with the complete, fully formatted text of the report, including discussion and disclosures. Every section of the report is "tagged" to be quickly and directly accessible so users do not need to search through reports to find exactly what they are looking for.
The SavaNet XBRL Reader has an intuitive and familiar Microsoft Office 2003-style interface to allow users to enjoy the benefits of XBRL without any training or knowledge of the new format. With a standard multiple document interface, tabbed windows, and dockable panels, users will find a friendly and familiar user interface with a clean layout and easy navigation controls. SavaNet's XBRL Reader application has been publicly demonstrated by SEC Chairman Christopher Cox to personally demonstrate the power of XBRL for investors and analysts.
With the click of a button, users can customize their view of hyper-detailed financial statements and notes disclosure information. The presentation-level detail, ordering, scaling, and line items displayed can be easily changed on-the-fly by the user to suit their needs. By simply clicking on multiple line items, a user can create custom interactive charts that can be copied into any other documents, such as Microsoft Word or PowerPoint.
Financial statements and line Items from multiple reports can be compared side-by-side in complete detail. With the click of a button, financial statements and disclosure information can be exported from the SavaNet XBRL Reader into a Microsoft-Excel compatible spreadsheet in exactly the presentation format as reported by the publisher of the XBRL document.
